Class Information & Schedule

Celebrate our 11th annual festival with us:

September 24 - 26, 2010

Most classes are still open, Card Weaving and Beginning Wheel Spinning are FULL at this time. Kaleidoscope of Colors, Introduction to Fair Isle Knitting, Plying for Texture, Matching Yarn to a Project, and Gauge Is Not A 4 Letter Word are CANCELLED.  We will continue to accept paid registrations postmarked up to and including Sept 1st.  Please be sure to e-mail Holly at holly@shaltzfarm.com or call her at 231-582-3206, to be sure your class choice is still available.  Holly will be out of town from August 25th through Sept 1st, but her husband, Zack, will be able to answer most questions.

Preregistration deadline is August 15, taken on a first-received, first-registered basis. Check the website frequently to see what classes have filled before sending in your registration. We will continue to receive registrations through September 10th, with a late fee.

Half-day (three-hour) classes cost $45; full-day (six-hour) classes are $80. Any registrations postmarked August 16 or later will cost $5 more per class, including registrations at the festival.

To find out if a class still has openings, email Holly Shaltz at holly@shaltzfarm.com or call her at (231) 582 3206. Registrations are accepted on a first-paid, first-registered basis. We do not hold class spots for unpaid students.


Payment in full (class fees) is due with your completed registration form. We do not accept credit cards or online payments at this time.

You will receive a confirmation letter after your registration has been processed.

Refunds: There will be no refunds issued after September 15. Refunds prior to that are 75% of the class fee and will be issued only if a cancellation is requested in writing. If a class is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
