Sheep and Pasture Management Seminars

Sunday, 10 am

We will have an expert shepherd to answer your questions, providing basic info for wannabe and new shepherds, and talking about recent research updates in the areas of sheep and pasture management. These seminars are FREE, informal, and informative. Whether you're just thinking about getting some sheep, or have already taken the plunge, you will find Dr Rook a gold mine of information. No need to register in advance; just show up at the animal barn behind Vendor Building #1 at 10 am on Sunday.

Pasture Tour

Sunday, 1:30 pm-4:30 pm

Every year shepherds and would-be shepherds tour area farms to see good shepherding practices in action. Jim Bristol will navigate. Contact Jim Bristol at miwoolman@yahoo.com to let him know how many spaces on the bus you need.
